Your Child. Thriving.
Greetings, Yetis!
I hope this message finds you enjoying a beautiful, Summit County September!  As you know, the school year is progressing quickly! Students and staff are hard at work, and we are seeing incredible examples of each of our school's cornerstones: Academics, Character, Community, and Nature.  Whether it's scoring well on an assessment, climbing Bald Mountain, or giving back to our community, students are exemplifying the traits that make our learning community so special.  With that in mind, it is most appropriate to share with you the year's first Call of the Yeti Newsletter.  You can access the newsletter below:
Attendance Awareness Month:  Please remember that attendance is the number one indicator of a student's academic success!  To encourage positive attendance, the Summit School Board has proclaimed September 2014 as Attendance Awareness Month.  Good attendance is essential to student achievement and graduation, and we appreciate all that our families do to ensure that students are in school on time every day.  More information can be found by clicking below:
As always, THANK YOU for your continued support, and feel free to contact me with any questions, praises, or concerns.  We welcome any and all feedback!
My best,
James Smith
